Letter form 3/29/2010

Well all is going just amazing here!!!! To start out the week ol’ Pickup and I went on exchanges and it was just a total ball. I love that Elder haha. But then on wednesday I Got some kind of weird stomach thing and I have been in pain for the whole week, and lots of bad side effects but wow last night we were teaching a lesson and my whole abdomen felt like it was inflating like a balloon. And I could not speak spanish at all cause it hurt so bad so I pray that I could just make it though the lesson cause it was in a member home and all.

And as soon as it was time to invite her to be baptized, my Spanish flowed like the best I have ever had, and she accepted the date and it was awesome. And then we got done and boom I was in pain, hahaha THe Lord hears prays and everything I am finding out more and more hhahaha.

All is well, we had a lesson with a great kid and he told us about the santos and all that give and about how as long as you believe in God your own way your good. !! Oh so we have been working on spirit driven boldness, And boy did I set him straight. People don't understand There is only one way. Through Jesus Christ This is his church!!!! Wow it was a very spiritual lesson. But he rejected it all. Very sad.

The lady that we found a few weeks ago that has not been to church for 6 months we walked down and picked her up and she was all ready to go. She felt the spirit so strong. And she knows she needs to change stuff in her life. Like the boy friend she lives with and the temptation of everything bad. And then she wonders why her house is a total spook house. So we got to teach her about how satan works.!! So that was good and we really want to walk in that house and grab the lazy boy friend and throw him out and clean the whole place out.

The world has a grasp on these people so strong. And breaking it is very tough but the Lord is always right there if people will open there heart and try a little the world looses all of it's power. People wonder why their lives are wrecks wow it''s not hard to see. They are living in complete filth and sin and satan is running there lives.

Everything is going great here. The border is really getting worse everyday. And shots are going over the fence and all kinds of good stuff. But I know that I am protected I don't worry about it for one second. It is awesome. This church is true and it is rolling. We will hear from our Prophet and find out what else we needed to be warned of . He is a watchman on the tower. He receives revelation for everyone in the World. Heed the voice of warning and go on with faith with nothing lacking. Follow him. And as Christ says " Venid a Mi"

I love you all and keep strong in Christ. He has overcome death and made our ways possible to return with our Heavenly FAther Otra vez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pray REad and Go to church and you will be protected!!!!

Letter form 3/22/2010

Hey everyone, well so after our wild deal last week. We went right to the Lord and really searched for inspiration. !! And it came like a flood. It was amazing, direct revelation at its most pure form for us. hahaha. several times through out the day we would both just received a new thing we needed to try. It was amazing.

So we prayed about where we needed to go contact people, and we decided to walk a ways to a members house and back, talking to everyone we see. So we were going along, about 30 min in a Lady comes running up to us yelling, and she says” I have been looking for the church for 6 months I am a member and I did not know there was a church here” Crazy wow, hahaa so we got her all set up and we are going to move all her records over and get her coming to church. We visited her and she is living in a real rough situation, so we are going to get her back. Terrible what can happen with just a few months of not going to church or reading the scrips.!!

Then we had some real amazing lessons with some o f the less actives here, amazing and we are going to work to bring them back to the fold. I am pumped we had one of the best weeks we have ever had!!!

We had zone conference and all the revelation we had received was confirmed there, they talked about everything that we had received. !!!! Crazy it has been real good. !!!! They showed us a really sweet motivational speaker at the conference and he has no arms or legs and he talked about how many times we get pushed over or something happens and we are on the ground, but we get up. The Lord is there to lift us up when we ask, he will always help us, I have felt this very real in the mission. I have felt just destroyed by the work and by everything. And then when we ask he lifts us and we grow even more. And a other thing the guy said was it is all about how we finish.!!! You can run a race as hard as you can until the finish you will be tired. But if you run kinda slow and then go all out at the end you are still tired. So like we always said “Go Big Or Go HOme” !!! Very real. I thought it was only for snowboarders to say that hahaahha.

I was reading in Jesus the Christ and a spot really stuck out to me. it was about our pre-mortal existence. When our father in heaven said, that we could have a Body and be tested, it says in Job 38:7 we shouted for Joy and sang. Think about how amazing it really was for us. we were that much closer to being like our father in heaven. !!!! God has said he will give us all that he hath nothing being held back. When we follow all the commandments and all !!!!! He has promised us all.!!!! Wow
What a blessing and we know what we need to do to achieve it. !!! How awesome!!

Letter from 3/15/2010

Well, there was a real awesome thing that happened this week. So there was this lady named Carla that we me and a other elder found while on splits and she was the worker for the good cologne hook up. Well after a bit she started to take the lessons with the other elders. So they would invite all the elder over for diff stuff it was great. Then her sister lily came from cali and visited for their moms b day. Well we got to know them real good and they loved learning about the gospel more and more. It is awesome. We got to teach her many times. Well after a bit she prayed about a bap date. and it was for this week end. She went up for a bit to visit her sis and they both came back to be baptized and Lily asked me to baptize her, cause she will be going back to cali. But it was my first time doing the baptism and it was so awesome.!!!!! Way awesome and they are going to be great members of the Ward. !@!!!!!! it was so amazing to see them change and they both talked about how happy they are and they can’t even stand it. !!!!WAy cool they will be friends for life and they invited us out to cali after our missions to visit with all the elders.!!!

ANd also it was missionary week in sac meeting. And all of us elders sang Bring the world his truth . !! Wow it was amazing.!!!!

Well so, this week started out great and all was going great. And then, me and my comp had a little talk about how we can rely on the Lord more and learn more what he wants from us. And then, wow he heard that prayer!!!! and he decided to humble us tons. We had every date fall and every one of our investigators fell off the face of the earth. Wow this was a tough week and when the Lord wants you to learn something he will teach it. And when you pray and ask for things he always hears !!!!! This has been a real testimony builder and a real test, I love this work and the Lord is really in control more then I thought. We have done everything we can and now it really comes down to more trust and reliance on the Lord!!!!!! I am glad I am learning these lessons all quick and in such a short amount of time but it is amazing, the Lord is blessing us all so much, our mission is flying, and When we all put our full trust in him and obey him perfectly this mission will double and triple it’s baptisms, like Elder Kikuchi said 3 weeks before I came into the mission.!!!

I have no doubt that it will and can happen. But just like 2 Nephi 4 says at the last 10 verses, my joy is in the Service of the Lord, this is the real joy to be able to be serving him everyday, the baptisms will in his time. This is a real testimony to me now.

Family I am so pumped to see the blessings in all of your lives. My life has been changed and blessed I am loving this so much, MAy the Lord always bless you and keep you safe is my prayer, rely on him and yoke your self with him completely !!!!!!! This church is the Only and True church of Jesus Christ. In a few weeks we will here revelation from his servants!!! I can’t wait for this. Pray always that you may come off conquerer and that you can be protected and kept and saved as the chosen and Elect.!!! I love you all and have a great week!!

Letter from 3/8/2010

Hey ya’ll well wow!!!!! So to start out we got three new elders in my district!!! First Elder Martinez from Baja Cali he is learning english and he is great for us to practice spanish. Then we got elder fogul from sugar city way cool guy. And our new district leader is Guess!!!!!!! Elder Pickup hahahaha yea my primo is in my district leader. I talk to him every night. Wow it was so sweet to see him, he is doing great and wow. So we had a good little chat at our meeting, but it is freaking awesome, we have the coolest distract ever. haha so we are just flying down here, and the work is flying. !!!!

Well this week went great and we saw so many sweet things happen, it has been raining like crazy here, like Scott said el nino stuff in spanish that means THE Nino!!!! but yeah we have had tons more then they get for the monsoon season.!! wild and it is cold so that is great. But I am sure it will heat up here soon and I will be roasting but all is well.!!!

Well with our investigators Satan is going extra hard against us we were expecting three for church this week and they all fell out with in 30 min before church. !!!! oh man that is annoying, but we will work even harder this week, on them to get them going.!!!!

Pedro we had a amazing lesson with him and he prayed about his date and he said he knew this was true he could feel it, but still he did not make it to church, the ride was on the way to get him.

Kinda tough but we move on, and start rolling. Our mission is setting records for our mish every month, and we are on that brink of just going crazy with everything, and it will happen here real soon, I am staying here in Nogales another transfer and that is great cause I love this spot so much, haha it is great place and whatnot.

The border has picked up with more violence, there is several deaths a day right on the other side so that is pretty weird. but does not affect us. but wild.

Elder Edmunds and I are just loving every minute of everything, and having so much fun, the Lord is truly blessing us with so much. We are learning like crazy and it is awesome. The language is becoming less and less of a barrier, which is awesome, people can listen to what i am saying a bit more then how I say it, even though the spirit speaks perfectly !!!!!!!

Everything is going great, my life has changed so much and I learning so much. So I want to focus a bit on JAcob Ch 4 verse 10. It talks about how we should not seek to counsel the Lord but to take counsel from his hand!!!! How true is this, I have been working on this because I know I am so guilty of it. When we really put our trust in the Lord all is well, It is tough sometimes cause we think we know what is best. But the big thing is to be humble and be like a child. !!!! Accept his help and ask for his help !!! When we open that door for him he will come in and help!! this is a great blessing that we have as member s of the church we have this knowledge and we can use it. I pray for you all continually and hope that your weeks can be filled with Love.

Letter from 3/1/10

Well everything is going great here. transfers are this week and I will probably be staying. The area is really doing great we knew this was going to be a hard transfer restarting the area but it has been amazing. !!!! I am doing great here and the church is growing like crazy the members are getting in to it more and more!!!!

Well I have seen a lot of prophecy fulfilled in my time on the mission with earth quakes and such and with people that we find starting new churches out of the blue we taught about authority and come to find out she is starting her own church so we left some great chapters in the Book of Mormon that when she reads them the spirit will set her straight!!

We are loving it here. I can’t believe all the things that have happened. We had some real amazing member lessons this week and people are progressing.

Nothing too crazy has been going on with the border but, with the mission. Since the new formation of the Farmington mission. Phoenix and Mesa and Albakerky loosing tons of mission. So Albakerky is taking most of new mexico and all of texas from us. we now have all the way to silver city NM. So in the end of May where ever we are at that is where we will stay so If I get moved to el Paso or something, then I will be in the Albakerky mission. So it is pretty exciting and really wild here with that. The work is moving and the new mission is focused on the indian people out there, main focus.!!!! Cool huh.

We had a lesson with a kid and satan had been after him so bad that he wanted to know why this was all going on. so we read the the first vision out of the history and wow!!! I have never felt the spirit so strong.!! HE was in shock and he knew right then that wow this is real, and we showed him why he had this stuff happen, because he had disappeared for 2 weeks and he was not reading the BoM, so he had no protection!!!

The Book of Mormon really does bring protection, we told him that prayer and Reading are like force fields from satan and that Satan can not be near you if God is in it!!! It was amazing and really this is a big key of staying out of trouble and temptations!!! READ PRAY EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want you all to read Chapter 33 of 2 Nephi– I love it so much the whole thing and right in verse 13 he says “Farewell until that great day shall come” Believer in Christ!!!!!!! That great day will come when we will stand before Christ and be judged. It will be a great day when we Endure to the END!!!! I know this is true and it is awesome!!!

The church moves on no unhallowed hand will ever stop the work from progressing!!!!!!!

Letter from 2/22/10

Ok, so wow. hahah even though last week was the worst on record for my life. We knew that things were going to have to break this week.

AND………………… THey did, this week went crazy it was so sweet.!!!! We could not fit everything in it was awesome. The Lord showed us blessings and milagros up the wazoooo. !!!!! We found this family that needed help with their kids knowing God and about fe. ANd when we got out of that lesson we were toasted it was so amazing. I love helping these people know what is really going onini life. IT was sweet to say the lesast.

Then we found another family and we have great potental with that. but the hard thing in this area is that the padres hablar en spanish and the kids speak in english and read in english. So we are always transalating for each other and teaching both all the time. It kinda wears ya out. hahah but it is fun.

The Lord showed us blessing after blessing. And I am seeing a glimpse of how to better do missionary work. Every day is a huge improvment. And the real key of everything is the Atonement. I gained a huge testimony of the Atonement last week, and now we are teaching it everysecond we can. Cause we literaly watch people change as we are taeaching it. And the Power in the book of mormon is so real. It really is the converting tool, The Book of Mormon combined with the spirit are our greatest tools. And I have really seen that. !!!! IT is so awesome.

As we were pulling out of our driveway after dinner, I got the feeling we needed to call this guy we found he was always busy and never had time so we put hi m to the side for a while. We called him and set up a time ni the morn to meet himi. So then that night we went to see crystal a new member and at the house it is a foster home there was a girl there that was catholic so we asked her about the whole ash wednesdayy stuff she told us the little that she knew. Then she said havent you come to my house before . I was like where do you live. She said on Alexsis Circle my mouth dropped open. She was the daughter of the guy we had just called. So she said that her dad was cmoing to pick her up I was laughing cause how crazy it was. We saw him we talked with him and all was well he said he wanted to see us before he let his family see us. Then the girl ran up and said to him that we were way cool and not as wierd as they thought we were ahahahah. cool.

So all is well here the church is going forth always. My mission will be split we will know more tomorrow in the zone meeting but the Albuqurqi mission will take half of our mission El Paso and most of all New Mexico so now we have a small mission and we are going to double baptisms in less people and we know only give people 3 weeks for a bap date. So we are really only finding the ready ones. It is a big fe pruba. All is well . But we will loose about half of the missionarys so about 80. Wow so I could recieve a new call to a new mission for all I know. wild I KNow ahahahahaha
